January 20 - Game Night on Zoom
Social Chair Jackie Brooks hosts a game night via zoom. The game is SCATTERGORIES

October 23 - Honky Tonk Angels Dinner Theatre - CANCELLED
At the Best Western Theatre in Cobourg. This is a foot-stompin’ musical about three women from diverse backgrounds who follow their dreams and meet on a Greyhound bus bound for Nashville, where they form a country girl group — Tammy Wynette’s “Stand by Your Man,” Loretta Lynn’s “Coal Miner’s Daughter” and Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5” are just some of the hits threaded into this story. Complete with country band this show is going to take the Best Western by storm! Dinner is 6pm and Show is 8 pm. Cost is $54 per person. Cheques only please.

September 11 - Queens Park Tea and Tour  - CANCELLED

July 7 - Shirley Valentine at the Capital Theatre in Port Hope - CANCELED

​June 2 - BBQ at Lakeridge Golf Club - CANCELLED

May 23 - King Edward Hotel High Tea  - CANCELLED
​Come join us for a special tradition where old world luxuries become revived. A high tea with sweets and savories and 24 premium teas to choose from. Address is 37 King St. East, Toronto. Just a short walk from the Go Train at Union Station. Max 30 members. Cost is $66.67 tax included. Members pay at restaurant .

April 7 - Trivia Tournament - CANCELLED
At the Brooklin Pub. Cost is $4. and the Pub asks that if you wish to have dinner there before the tournament please tell the person at the door so you can be served upstairs where we play.

March 27 - Oshawa Automotive Museum Tour - CANCELLED
Come and see the cars your parents took for a spin. Maybe even your grandparents. No seat belts in these models! Lots of history. Cost is $7 and cash will be accepted.

February 19 -  Email Etiquette
At the Whitby Central Library. Presentation will include Replying to emails, Email forwarding, CC/BCC, Scams, Spoofs, and keeping information safe, and more. Cost is $5.

January 14 - ​Wind Tunnel
A tour of the Wind Tunnel at the Ontario Tech University was held.

December 7 - The Nunsense Christmas Musical play
In  Port Perry - Come ready to laugh out loud! If you have never experienced a “Nun” play you must sign up. Cost is $21. Great way to get you in the Christmas spirit.

November 28  - Christmas Dinner 
 At Oshawa Golf and Curling Club. Buffet dinner. Cash bar. DJ entertainment by Matthew Beauchamp.

November 13  - Euchre 
Snacks included.

November 5 - Trivia 
 The Pub requests that if you plan on dinner before the event please tell your waitress and eat upstairs
where we are going to play.


October 24 - Billy Elliott show in Stratford 
Traveled by bus from Whitby (Iroquois Park) to Stratford and back. Saw the 2:00 p.m. Billy Elliott play which has won the Tony award for Best Musical with music by Elton John. Story is about a motherless British boy who trades boxing gloves for ballet shoes.

September 12 - Prince Edward County Wine tour
Traveled by bus from Whitby (Iroquois Park) to four wineries in Prince Edward County for tastings. Enjoyed a lunch at Huff Estates Winery. On the bus ride back, shopped at the Big Apple stop for goodies brought home to eat along with the wine you bought.

August 14 - Dare2Dream Farm 
In Kendal, got a tour of this agritourism farm. A history of the farm, a visit to the beehives, and enjoyed a boxed lunch from Krumbs Breadery. Explored the gift shop which had unusual items such as alpaca products.

July 17 - Westben Theatre, Campbellford.
“Abba Mia” concert with five singers and a band.  Enjoyed songs from “Mamma Mia” show as well as ABBA hits. 

June 18 - Lake Couchiching cruise from Orillia.  
 Sailed around the lake on the Island Princess and listened to Captain Jack tell funny stories about the area. Enjoyed a lovely lunch of slow roasted chicken on bed of seasoned rice, salad buffet bar included a finger dessert, as well as tea/coffee and soft drinks.


May 23 - Aga Khan Museum
77 Wynford Drive, Toronto. This is a beautiful museum of Islamic art, Iranian art and Muslim culture, built in a contemporary architectural style. Two tours – Art Gallery and Architecture- were given.  Excellent restaurant on site served Middle Eastern food.


April 27 - “Music Man”
At VOS theatre in Victoria Hall, Cobourg. 55 King St. W.,  $27.33 includes tax. 40 seats reserved. There’s trouble in River City when a fast-talking salesman gets his heart stolen by the town librarian. This musical comedy is winner of six Tony awards.
Signup at January 23rd  meeting.


March 19 - Trivia
 6:30 p.m. at Brooklin Pub. No Snacks will be served. 

March 18 - Whitby Main Library tour.
 405 Dundas St. W.  “Life of a library book” presented, followed by a behind-the-scenes tour. 

March 13 - Euchre 

February 12 - Cooking Demo
 At lOFT Longo’s, 1 Rossland Road East (near Harwood), Ajax. Watch a chef make four delicious recipes while providing cooking tips and then you get to devour samples of all four! Menu is: apple and caramelized onion tart, mini chicken pot pies, mini banana bread with salted caramel glaze, buttermilk scones with homemade lemon curd. Space is limited so sign up quickly!  $33.92 including tax.  Payment by cheque. Signup at November meeting.

January 22 - Trivia
At Brooklin Pub.   Snacks are not included.

January 14 - Abilities Centre tour
Found out what this place is all about and what it offers. After the tour, enjoyed a free hour on the walking track.
